Live your childhood dream

we were wondering on the street when this sight hit me:

the first setence i could muster was, "NO WAY!" it was with sheer adulthood dignity, that i was able to prevent myself from pressing my nose to the window, and WALKED (instead of rushing in like a 6-year-old) into the store without further embarrasing myself. oh~ how i love the wonderful world of willy wonka~

Art in a tea cup

it's like walking into the wardrobe of Narnia.

i accidentally stumpled acrossed a japanese tea house this sunday and was instantly reminded of a conversation i once had with a native in bali. he told me with an air of certainty and boldness that they are a race of artist, born with an early creativity and aesthetic perceptions that no man can hope to compare.

however, as i sat in this elegent japanese tea house, tasted their exquiste desserts arranged with care and dedication similar to an art display in a modern gallary, i had a sudden, and yet profound intake on the so-called "race of artist." if there was ever such a thing, there is one culture i know of that has embodied "art" in its everyday life, from past to present, and from memorable creation to every little thing, such as a simple afternoon tea...
